Dunnage bags are used to protect and strengthen loads during transport. The bags are placed in spaces and inflated with compressed air from a balloon or compressor. The bags are blown through the valve with a special nozzle. Fastening bags can be filled with gaps from 10 to 100 cm. The height of the bags can vary from 45 cm to 275 cm, width from 45 cm to 120 cm. Inflatable bags are made in two layers. The outer layer is usually made of polypropylene or paper and the inner layer is made of polyethylene.

Use and efficiency:

  • Inflatable mounting bags for cargo are a convenient and effective means of securing the load
  • Can be used in land, sea or rail transport
  • Used in various vehicles
  • Bags are reusable

According to strength, inflatable bags are divided into 4 levels:

Level 1 : used in land transport;

Level 2 : used in land transport and maritime containers;

Level 3 : used in railway wagons;

Level 4 is used to protect particularly heavy goods on board vessels (between containers) and in rail transport.
